The pullout/withdrawal method is not 100% (even if done correctly there is up to a 4% chance of becoming pregnant) and also breastfeeding does not guarantee that you won't get pregnant. It is LESS likely however. I would recommend just taking a home pregnancy test if you are concerned.

Yes: The pullout or withdrawal method is 73-96% effective. On average 19% of those using it will become pregnant each year. Women are less fertile when breastfeeding but if you already had a period following birth you may be ovulating & thus fertile. However, there is a chance your period is late because you're breastfeeding. A simple OTC pregnancy test can tell if pregnant.Consider condoms mid-cycle.
