Nursery water safe: Don't worry! You have not done anything to harm your baby! I am assuming you are using the nursery water to mix formula . Nursery water with fluoride usually has 0.7 parts per million of fluoride which is a very low and safe level. Fluorosis generally occurs when babies are exposed to MULTIPLE sources of fluoride (tap water, fluoride containing vitamins, ingested toothpaste etc ).

Nursery water: Children can use fluoridated water until the age of 8-9 years old. The public water sources are watched for contaminates, quality and fluoride. Smyrna tap water is amongst the best in the country. The City of Smyrna is delivering reliable and safe public water that exceeds federal and state quality standards. Nursery water is safe, it's also more expensive and unnecessary to pay for what is free.

Fluoride: If balanced properly fluoride dramatically reduces cavities. In excess can cause mottling of permanent teeth. Please talk to your Pediatrician or better, a Pediatric Dental Specialist, about proper fluoride management in your area.
