I have bad shunt pain its when i lie down i have seen my neurosurgeon he took ct and x-ray all good i have been taking advil (ibuprofen) could it b surgery ?

Common to have pain: if your neurosurgeon told you that the CT and Xrays indicate shunt is ok then doubtful that surgery is planned.
