Acetaminophen : Finding over the counter pain medication can be difficult. Tylenol (acetaminophen) could work in your situation, be careful to follow dosage instructions and avoid alcohol

Coumadin (warfarin) & Pain Meds: I frequently perform varicose vein surgery on patients on coumadin / warfarin. The best options for pain control are acetaminophen / tylenol based medication or narcotics such as codeine, hydrocodone, or oxycodone. Ultram is another option. The narcotics are obviously indicated for more severe discomfort.
