It is definitely: Uncomfortable but not suffocating.

Usually not bad: Modern rhinoplasty has some pain but it is usually not severe. Also most surgeons do not pack the nose with gauze after surgery so there will be some congestion from swelling but you should still be able to breathe through your nose.

Congested: Most people have congestion after a rhinoplasty. Sometimes the nose may be achy. You may feel like you have a cold or sinus infection.

Not exactly: Most surgeons no longer pack the nose with yards of guaze or heavy splints following rhinoplasty. If packing is used, it is usually light and is removed painlessly after one or two days. Not breathing through your nose is a bit uncomfortable, and generally feels similar to a bad cold. If needed, your doctor can prescribe medication to reduce anxiety. Pain is moderate and responds to medication.

Not too painful: The recovery from rhinoplasty does depend a little on what is being done for your nose. Occasionally packing may be placed in the nostrils to help with bleeding and that is removed one or two days after surgery. More often, a small internal "band-aid" is placed and is removed the next day. After that, you can return to breathing through your nose. There is discomfort but generally not much pain.

Most likely not: If the nose is not packed (usually not but depends on surgeon and patient), recovery from a rhinoplasty can still have stuffiness. However, this is usually tolerated quite well by patients and improves after several days.
