Uti: Weekly gentamicin may be insufficient. That interval is long between doses. Are blood levels of gentamicin checked?

Check for stones: You should be checked for kidney/bladder stones and be sure you are being treated for positive urine cultures and not just symptoms.

Need more info...: Its unusual for a 37 male to have a UTI--especially one that lasts 9 weeks. There must be more to the story. Do you wear a catheter? Do you have a neurogenic bladder from Spina Bifida? Please repeat your question with more information. Best wishes!
