My daughter just got blood work done after recently taking amoxicillin for a uti. she stopped taking it a week ago after taking it for about 8/9 days. will this effect the test, specifically the wbc or neutrophils absolute count?

I guess the answer is dependent on whether her WBC count was initially elevated due to the UTI. It sounds like the longer course of amoxicillin wasn't treating a simple cystitis though, since 3-5 days is usually enough for that. If the bacteria was susceptible to amoxicillin, the WBC was due to the infection, and she feels better after stopping, then one could assume the WBCs have improved
