Still unknown...: The clinical scenario as reported in a 83-y-o man should pose no emergence for 1-2 days to sort out what is going on in his lower urinary tract, since such conditions usually result from his lifelong making. So, give time & patience so to allow doc to figure out the causes as long as being reasonably comfortable after catheter insertion and being free of fever. Best...
