Yes!: It's safe to breast feed a week after eye dilation medicine. It's always good to be cautious when taking medicine while pregnant or nursing! Your pharmacist is also a great source of information if you have questions re: your medication! :)

Breast feeding: There is not need to stop breast feeding if your eyes have been dilated for eye exam. The drug effect is localized to the eye.

Yes: Atropine may decrease lactation (milk let down) but should not affect baby. After one week, although your pupils may still be dilated and you still may be blurry, the atropine has been eliminated from your system adequately enough to breast feed your infant.
