Epi most likely: Many dental anesthetics contain epinephrine (adrenaline ) to prolong the effect of the drug. Some people are sensitive to this and if that's the case with you , let your dentist know as local anesthetic is available with other or even no vasoconstrictor. Discuss the pros and cons with the dentist and you can arrive at a good understanding and clinical outcome.
