D/c: if you are off of the effexor (venlafaxine) but still having side effects its called discontinuation syndrome. you could try resolving it by going back on a low dose then tapering it slowly. if you've been off of it for a while then i would expect that it slowly improves. you need to speak with the prescribing physician and ask them their opinion and for a clear plan to address your concerns.
