Can you tell me about effexor, (venlafaxine) remeron & vyvanse combination - any insight about combination efficacy for treatment-resistant depression or user experiences?

Good combination.: Vyvanse is used for ADHD/ADD , Effexor (venlafaxine) is an SNRI type of antidepressant and Remeron is an add-on for sleep and appetite improvement but is also and atypical antidepressant. All are very effective. Some people who have ADHD often suffer from low self-esteem and depression hence these combination. Vyvanse can also decrease appetite and Remeron counteracts this.

Good combo: Some studies suggest that effexor (venlafaxine) and remeron work better together than independently. vyvanse, i'm less enthusiastic about as i feel it doesn't treat depression per se as much as it increases energy/activation.

Best to discuss medication with your Psychiatrist. If uncomfortable with your Dr. consult another for a second opinion. Have a physical exam by a Dr. to determine if you have a physical illness. Consult with a Clinical Psychologist for psychotherapy with ZOOM sessions. Fears and anxiety could be heightened due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Stay safe & hopeful to elevate your immune system.
