A member asked:

What does a barium xray reveal? will it detect the trigeminial nerve? possible lpr. feel like there is always something stuck in my throat.

Not the nerve: Barium xrays are used to look at your digestive system such as the esohagus (throat), stomach and intestines. It will not help to see a nerve unfortunately. It may help to find the cause of your symptom but eventually you may need an endoscopy. You should see a Gastroenterologist to find the best test.
