Can a Barium xray detect LPR and post nasal drip?

No: Barium x-rays may show some LPR but not post nasal drip. The best tests for LPR are esophageal acid probe/mannometry and/or nasopharyngoscopy to visualize the vocal cords and look for sings of acid irritation.
