how much coffee is too much? i probably drink about 36 oz a day. i also drink 4-5 liters of water a day. doesn't bother me, but want to be healthy.

Two to three: The best amount of caffeine to have is about 300 mg or less per day. This equates to about 2-3 cups, depending on how strong they are. Drinking more is not unsafe per se, but you won't get any additional alertness, and the diuretic effects will make you urinate frequently. Hope this helps!
