How should i clean the yellow discharge (about a drop) in the eye (caruncle) and a more translucent goo that appears on my eyeball nightly?

Gently: I use a clean wet q-tip and carefully sweep away or roll away the collected mucus from the corner of the eye. It may require more than one q- tip. You may also use a clean wet washcloth too.
