KOCHs: KOCH's=tuberculosis (TB) infection. So the radiologist saw something that looked light TB. Tuberculosis (TB) is a potentially fatal contagious disease that can affect any part of the body but is mainly an infection of the lungs caused by a bacterial microorganism, the tubercle bacillus or Mycobacterium tuberculosis. TB can be treated, cured, and can be prevented in at risk people with medication

Tuberculosis: Koch's infection or tuberculosis is suggested by the X-ray. The final diagnosis would also include a skin test, review of history, sputum cultures and possible other tests trying to better identify the organism. Your husband needs immediate follow-up and consideration for initiating treatment.
