Yes: that could definitely be possible. especially if you are starting medication for the 1st time. i would expect it to resolve fairly quickly tho. are you taking other medications?

It can: Other things that can do this is the discontinuation of sedating medication that the Lexapro (escitalopram) may be replacing. Combining Lexapro (escitalopram) with stimulants like caffeine can cause anxiety. As the Lexapro (escitalopram) starts to work someimes people cut back on caffeine (caffeine is an antidepressant too)
