Lowering dose: of Lexapro (escitalopram), (escitalopram) which is an antidepressant that also is used to treat anxiety, could cause your anxiety to worsen since you're treating your anxiety less now. Did you lower the Lexapro (escitalopram) because of side effects? If so, maybe you need another medicine.
