Yes: These are certainly some of the side effects I have seen in my patients on lexapro (escitalopram). I would encourage you to call your doctor and discuss how you are feeling and see if you should change your dose or wait to see if the side effects decrease( they will).

Dose dependent: Side effects. One has to remember that lexapro (escitalopram) is quite potent. Usual guideline I use is 5mg lexapro (escitalopram) is equal to about 20mg fluoxetine (Prozac). So make sure your dose has started out low and gone slow to adjust upward. Too fast and yes, side effects like you describe could be experienced. Please speak to your doctor asap about all possible causes and adjust medication as necessary.
