Let doc know: Some symptoms in sphincter of Oddi dysfunction persist and become chronic. The main problem is that some other conditions may as well occur and a thorough medical evaluation is needed. That's why letting your gastroenterologist know is critical.

I recently had an attack of Choledocholithiasis and the symptoms lasted for a short period as the ERCP was performed quickly. Gallbladder also removed. Now that it is fully resolved, is the liver likely to regenerate without permanent scarring?

When an ERCP report says "clear CBD", does it generally mean the CBD has no stones and no strictures/narrowing?
My cousin, 54, had ERCP to remove gallstones from his bile duct. After the removal of stone, occlusion cholangiogram stated that the CBD is now clear. Just want to know on his behalf, will this now put him at an increased risk of biliary stricture?
Mild abdominal pain, ultrasound suggested a stone in CBD. No jaundice and LFTs normal. Getting ERCP soon. Just want to know, since there is no jaundice and only mild abdominal pain, does it mean the obstruction is not causing harm to the liver yet?
