Dehydration: Hydrochlorothiazide is a loop diuretic, which exeresis effect on the distal renal tubular, prevents resorption of water, along with potassium depletion. Signs and symptoms of dehydration, or volume depletion, can manifest with memory disturbance, weakness, headaches, orthostatic hypotension, muscle cramps.
