I read that hydrochlorothiazide diuretic for blood pressure can cause eye problems (blurred vision, myopia, glaucoma). why does that happen and do angiotensin recptor blockers affect the eyes too?

HCTH can cause dry eye. Any eye problem related to ARB is rare. Remember any medication can conceivably cause any side effects. But medications are approved only after determining that they are relatively safe and do not often do so. and their major side effects are listed so the prescriber is aware of them
