A member asked:

How do you know if lupus is going to continue at the same pace or be less aggressive?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Many reasons: This is a difficult question to answer. First how old is the patient, what race is the patient. How did the lupus present for example what symptoms did the patient presentl with and what organs are inolved. What did lab testing suggest? What medications are required to keep the patient under control or is it diificult to control despite many medications. Bad kidney involvement can be aggresive.
