A member asked:

Is the lupus that affects the skin less serious than the systemic lupus? would it be fatal/complications arise if lupus of the skin goes untreated?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

If limited to skin: Lupus limited to the skin is generally less serious. It is usually easy to treat, so why wait?
