Greenish yellow pus: That sounds like a localized infection of the abraded area. I would use the triple antibiotic treatment 3x day. If you see redness expanding around the site or if you have worsened pain, fever, or other worrisome symptoms then this small wound infection has moved beyond the 'heal it yourself' stage and you will need to show that to a doc. It sounds superficial so that is encouraging at least.
