Other tx: HS is due to a combination of pluggged oil glands and infection. Proper treatment sometimes includes antibiotics, but you should also be on a low saturated fat diet, and be using an antibacterial soap while cleaning frequently(2-4x/d) and sometimes fat solvents. Other meds can cause it- especially female hormones, so avoid them.
