dry eyes.how long can preservative free eye drop vial be used? leaflet says discard after one time use. some doc say 1 day, some say save for 48 hrs.

Drops: My advice is that they can be used for 24 hours. Eye drops are tricky because it is easy to introduce an infection. Better to be safe than sorry!

G'day. I just found a couple of boxes at home of 28 individual plastic vials of "Thera Tears" Lubricant eye gel (preservative free. Active ingredient sodium carboxymethylcellulose 1%) expiry July 2018 & wondering if they are still okay to use? Thanks?
