A member asked:

What caused one eye to blister then next day the other eye? went to doc and he is bewildered. being treated. he says it's just like a welders burn

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sinus disease: Blistering of both eyes can be caused by increased sinus pressure blocking the drainage of blood that usually flows through them on way to jugular vein. The raised area that inserts into periphery of cornea causes the it to be very dry and break down like a welders burn. Other causes ->allergies, trauma with blowout fractures, Stevens Johnson syndrome, post blepharoplasty lymph block Best wishes.
