A member asked:

Two red patches on the tip of my tongue. have been ent clinic, seen by my dentist. recently had a filling? is it stress? anxiety?

Maybe doesn't matter: Are the 2 red patches painful? If not and you've been checked by 2 specialists (ENT and dentist) and neither was concerned, then I would rest easy and not worry about it.

Irritation: Sometimes people can have what's called geographic tongue or geographic migrans. It is usually characterized by changing or migrating bald areas that look red on the tongue. Since you just had some dental work it could be due to filling being sharp or rough or was disturbed during the procedure.
