OxyContin for PCOS: OxyContin is a synthetic narcotic and rather strong fo PCOS. I suggested seeing your gyn and starting BCP's.

No: Oxycontin is only used for pain. Does your PCOS cause pain? Even so, long-term use of oxycontin is not ideal. See a pain specialist who concentrates on pelvic pain.

Definitely "no!": Pain is not (or only extremely rarely) a part of PCOS: generally if a woman has pelvic pain complaints, PCOS would not even be on the list. SO, it would be super rare to prescribe the strongest class of narcotic for PCOS. I do not understand what "severe" PCOS means, that is not a medical classification. I suggest if you are still confused you talk with one of the doctors caring for you. Best!
