Anxiety: You would benefit fro talk therapy or counseling to address the root of your anxiety and develop positive coping mechanisms. Eat a healthy diet, sleep 6-8 hours per night and get 30 minutes of exercise at least 5 days per week.

Unfinished business: You seem like you have been harboring some chronic subconscious concerns from early life stress/trauma/pain that may need to be addressed through cognitive behavioral therapy. Like you are wired to do, you've been strong in overcoming the past. However, current mild triggers ingite this unresolved nervous energy and signal the need to dig deep to unearth the roots behind your worry. You can do it.

Anxiety: Yes, anxiety does lead to depression. Its an abuse to the gift of imagination. And its true, 92% of what we worry about does not happen. Its best to break out of the habit. You may want to seek the aid of a friend, a counselor, a priest, a psychiatrist or prayers. Talking about it helps.
