Definitely.: High cortisol can cause myriad signs & symptoms: fatigue, decreased energy, impaired memory, insomnia, anxiety, restlessness, crying, and depression. I often use a specialty lab kit to test for cortisol and other adrenal hormones (saliva) as well as neurotransmitters (urine).
