I'm getting a lactulose breath test for sibo. sugar seems to make my ibs a lot worse. will the lactulose i drink make me feel bad if i have sibo?

Lactulose test: Lactulose will have a laxative effect, depending upon the dose. If the dose is low, then your bowel will be minimally effective. If the dose is moderate or high, you may get diarrhea and cramps.
