Not Likely: It is unlikely that you got poison ivy from your car after driving through smoke from a fire where someone was burning poison ivy.

You must be nervous: I keep seeing variations of this question. Dermatitis & /or Inhalation of Poison Ivy & Oak can be a significant problem for firefighters but less so for general public. If soot from these plants/trees is inhaled or hits surface – it can contain urushiol which in turn can cause health problems. After researching this – find no specifics on how far the soot can be transported from burn site.
