Yes: Leukemia can affect a child if any age , with the most common leukemia, ALL, occurring between the ages of 2 and 9, however, if the child is outside that range, the chances of more severe leukemia increase. There are many different types of leukemia - please see your doctor immediately if you have any concerns about this
