Eye pain: I would suggest you go to ER to may sure that your are not having a stroke or retinal detachment a condition that can blindness.

Pain: Retinal detachment does not cause eye pain. The symptom are floaters, flashes of light and partial or complete vision loss. Your eye pain can be from high Blood pressure, sinus issues, migraine, dry eyes, or compression source behind the eye. You should see an ophthalmologist for exam.
