A member asked:

Hi. i have never struggled with headaches in the past, but the last month or two i've been getting frequent, splitting tension headaches. it starts behind my eyes and then moves to the back of my head. this happens almost every day?

New-get seen: Any new onset headaches need to get evaluated.Likely migraines and not tension.Migraines are theobbing behind eyes-light hurts and usually nauseated,Tension get worse as day goes on and like a band around head.Any change in diet, new aspartame sweetners, increase caffeine, lack of sleep, trauma to head, fever, etc.Does acetaminophen or ibuprofen make better. This new onset headache needs to get evaluated
