For about a month my left ear (middle ear/eustachian tube area) makes a whooshing sound when i eat and it blocks up whenever i sleep on it?

Get it checked: Todd ....sounds like there may be an infection present. Residue from the infection could cause the blockage when you sleep or the eustachian tube muscles may be contracting to cause the blockage.
