A member asked:

What is anterior low lying placenta means in usg scan?4th running for me.is it any problem my baby growth.please suggest.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Low-lying placenta: A low-lying placenta is when the placenta has implanted near the cervix but not over it as in a placenta previa. We treat the low-lying placenta with pelvic rest and decreased activities like no heavy lifting or strenuous exercise. They generally resolve on their own. They have no effect on the growth of the baby.
