Not necessarily: A lot children in traumatic situations get post traumatic syndrome which leaves them with a lot of psychological problems. It is also possible to go through a lot of trauma and grow up and be normal. Especially if they have a lot of loving family support

Sicko? No...: Violence is difficult to process even as adults. Many individuals have gone through situations that I would consider horrific and thrived in their lives. The children and adults in such a violent environment will need support and space to process what they have experienced; however, it is not a guarantee that they will be "sicko".
