Chronic sinusitis: This is a sign of chronic inflammation, often due to constricted sinus drainage pathways. If you are having symptoms related to the sinuses (congestion, drainage, pressure/headache, etc) that have persisted for 3 or more months, together with the CT findings you describe, and this persists despite treatment with antibiotics & nasal sprays, u would be candidate for procedure to open the sinus(es).
