Recent ct scan show mucosal thickening in ethmoid sinus. have balloon sinuplasty scheduled, but curious....symptoms onset coincided with starting to use a fitibit. any possibility that they are related (i.e. medial nerve irritant)? or coincidence?

Detective work: To decide whether or not facial sinus symptoms are related to getting a Fitbit or merely coincidental requires detective work. What changed in one's life after getting the Fitbit? If one started exercising with others, that would mean more exposures to potential upper respiratory infections. If one started walking or running outdoors, that means more exposures to airborne allergens and irritants.
