A member asked:

Ct scan showed polypoid mucosal thickening right sphenoid. no infection. doc said try a decongestant. what is this and should i be concerned?

The forehead, areas to the sides of the nose and under the eyes have pockets inside the bones of the skull called sinuses. The wording describes thickening of the normal tissue inside one of these sinuses. That can reflect past or current allergic reaction/cold/etc. The study is relatively normal. I would not worry.
