Possibly: Sjogren's can be associated with a peripheral neuropathy whereas Sarcoidosis could actually involve the nerve roots at the spinal cord level (some of which do innervate pelvic muscle/tissue). It would probably require a MRI with contrast (+) a detailed EMG (+) thorough neurology exam to clarify. You may wish to discuss these options with your MD. Sarcoid spinal Cord changes may require immune Rx.
