Doctors can evaluate: Physiologic demand for more blood cells (especially red blood cells) beyond the body's normal capacity to produce them can reverse the normal pattern of conversion of red marrow to yellow marrow as one ages (the reversed pattern is reconversion). A hematologist can look into that. Mri can show the changes in marrow in the spine. The neuro symptoms may be due to the autoimmune disease.

Neurosarcoid: Your sarcoidosis is more advanced then average with lesions involving the nervous system and bone marrow. Involvement of red blood cell-producing areas in your bones is resulting in reactivation of dormant bone marrow regions to maintain an adequate supply of blood elements. You need a sarcoid specialist experienced with the use of immunosuppressive drugs.
