Steps: include an undergraduate degree, then medical school, then residency. 11 years if you move quickly. This is to become a medical doctor. There are non medical doctors with a PhD. Undergraduate degree + PhD degree which includes a dissertation. 10 years to complete on the fast track. enjoy the road it's a long one.
