While doing colonoscopy and endoscopy they took biopsy to rule out crohns, even if cancer or tumor wasn't what they were looking for would biopsy show?

Yes: The biopsy will show what is really there. Cancer occurs more commonly in patients with Crohn's colitis and that is a reason to have more frequent colonoscopies and biopsies. When cancer develops, it usually has a characteristic appearance on endoscopy so you are probably safe unless they told you they were concerned about cancer.

Yes: If a cancer was present they would have seen it and biopsied it.
