Inform: Inform the office that you have a problem. Hopefully you're seeing an Orthodontic Specialist who deals with this on a routine basis. Don't eat or drink for at least 6 hours before your appointment. Take 1 200mg Advil (ibuprofen) before thou leave your house for the appointment. But best thing is advise the treating office of your problem. In all probability you'll be fine.
