Good news.: Once your teeth are properly aligned, your orthodontist will take another mold of your mouth so a retainer can be made for you before your braces are off. The orthodontist will remove all the brackets and wires, thoroughly clean all the glue off your teeth. The new set of records is taken and referral is made for teeth/gums cleaning. Retainers are delivered and instructions are given. Good luck.
